Hello happy people, come back again with me Nyoman Trio, an Indonesian people that interested in an action movie. So, Today I am gonna share about my experience which is when I was watching Robin Hood(2018) movie.
As we know together Robin Hood is a movie that tells about a thief steal from some rich people(especially corrupt government) and then share the insult to poor people. But in this movie, the Robin Hood is a lord that becomes a thief. It happened because of unfair in his city after he came back from joining a war. This movie also contains a lot of moral value such as bravery, hard worker, kindness and etc.
The story of this movie was written by David James Kelly. He adapted the folktale into a movie which is known as Robin Hood(2018) movie. This movie is very popular in this time and it was awesome experiences because the movie is a combination of folktale and modern, so the creator made the movie by telling the folktale and make it into a modern situation.
Like the other movies, there are so many actors and actress that have a role, such as a Robin, John, will, and Marian. Maybe some of you will have attention on Robin because he is the major Actor. But in another hand, I have attention to Marian.
Marian was a beautiful woman that became a Robin Hood’s wife. She was a thief that fell in love with Robin. But by the time she got remarried with Will after she had been informed that Robin died in War. It so sad part of the movie, because in fact, Robin was still alive and he was so disappointed with her because they had promised to wait and love each other.
The interesting of her is she tried to fight back the unwell treated by Sheriff of her city. Yeaaa, the situation was very difficult. The sheriff of the city became crueler and more arbitrarily. He tried to force people to collect taxes and also working for city’s quarry. But, Marian With her new husband tried to motivate and persuade people to do something for the unwell treated. But besides that, Marian also had corporate with Tuck to find the information about The Sheriff. Tuck is her friend and also robin’s friend as well. They try to find out proves of the sheriff’s crime.
After the Robin came from the war, Marian realized it and tried to talk to Robin. But Robin tried to keep away because he wanted to unharmed Marian because he had matter with the government. I think Marian did a good thing because she realized that Robin would be disappointed with her because she got remarried with Will.
After all those, Marian still continued her mission which is uncovered the Sheriff crime. She tried to find out the prove and finally she got the proves which is The Sheriff would send a lot of money to support the enemy of England. This was a professional decision in this time because she had an option either focus on her love or her noble mission.
In summary, I think Marian is one of the important people that have an important role to uncovered the real crime and saved the people of her city.
